Therapy services in Orpington, Bromley and Kent

Where do therapy sessions take place?

At its core, a counselling or therapy session is two people sitting together in a confidential setting (usually in the same room, but increasingly, this can also be online) where one person shares what’s concerning them by talking while the other person actively listens without judgement.

You’ll find that I do that from a choice of beautifully calm, relaxing spaces where confidentiality is guaranteed.

BROMLEY TOWN CENTRE

Bromley Old Town Hall, 30 Tweedy Road, Bromley BR1 3FE

Situated in Bromley Town Centre, the lovingly refurbished Old Town Hall is close to The Glades shopping centre with a choice of car parks nearby and is well served by buses. Bromley Old Town Hall is a 15-minute walk from Bromley South station, also.

ORPINGTON, LOCKSBOTTOM

The Primrose Centre, 3 Prudence Lane, Orpington, BR6 8RE

Located in a small road just off the entrance to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Locksbottom, The Primrose Centre is a converted church designed to be a therapeutic space. I work here with clients who are living with breast cancer but also have slots free on Mondays for other clients, too. Free parking on site.

Online & other locations

I’m able to work online via Zoom call or by telephone and also work on occasion from therapeutic spaces in Sidcup and Sevenoaks High Street. Please get in touch to discuss these locations and options by dropping me an email

Fees & payments

A counselling session lasts 50 minutes and costs £60 per session, payable 24 hours in advance, by BACS.

My cancellation policy is stated in my contract, which will be sent to you before your first session. We’ll go through this together carefully in the initial session.

What to expect

The first session is a little bit different to other sessions. It can seem a bit formal as there’s some paperwork to complete due to GDPR consent and confidentiality.

We’ll also go through the contract together to make sure that everything is understood. This is really important, because it spells out the terms, conditions and boundaries of how we agree to work together and underpins how we work going forward.

I might also ask a few more questions than usual in this initial session in order to understand what it is you wish to bring to counselling.

Let’s talk – Get in Touch

If you have any questions about how we might work together, please feel free to get in touch to arrange a time for a confidential, no-obligation chat. This is a chance to discuss the reasons you are thinking of starting therapy and whether I can help you. You can also call me on +44 7462 344 852 and leave a message – I’ll get back to you.

All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential.
