Sessions & Fees

Therapy services in Orpington, Bromley and online

Where do therapy sessions take place?

At its core, a counselling or therapy session is two people sitting together in a confidential setting (usually in the same room, but increasingly, this can also be online or on the move) where one person shares what’s concerning them by talking while the other person actively listens without judgement.

You’ll find that I do that from a choice of beautifully calm, relaxing spaces in Bromley Town Centre, Locksbottom in Orpington, where confidentiality is guaranteed. See below for more details.

Current availability

At the moment I have availability for counselling sessions in Orpington on Mondays, and Bromley town centre on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I have limited fortnightly availability on Tuesday evenings in Bromley Common. All other in-person slots are unfortunately taken but I have some spaces for online work on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon/evening.

I'm loathe to operate a waiting list as it seems unfair to keep people waiting for counselling help, but if you feel you'd like to be added to one, please get in touch as things do change on a week-by-week basis. Alternatively, I'm happy to signpost you to other services.

Walk & Talk

I've recently undertaken some additional training so that I can hold private one-to-one counselling sessions outdoors. These are known as Walk & Talk sessions and there is a lot of evidence to show that therapy undertaken outdoors in nature while moving has multiple benefits. To read more about this check out my blog here

I will be holding one-to-one Walk & Talk sessions on Wednesday afternoons in Bromley. Please get in touch if you're interested in finding out more about these.

BROMLEY TOWN CENTRE

Bromley Old Town Hall, 30 Tweedy Road, Bromley BR1 3FE

Situated in Bromley Town Centre, the lovingly refurbished Old Town Hall is close to The Glades shopping centre with a choice of car parks nearby and is well served by buses. Bromley Old Town Hall is a 15-minute walk from Bromley South station, also.

ORPINGTON, LOCKSBOTTOM

The Primrose Centre, 3 Prudence Lane, Orpington, BR6 8RE

Located in a small road just off the entrance to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Locksbottom, The Primrose Centre is a converted church designed to be a therapeutic space. I work here with clients who are living with breast cancer but also have slots free on Mondays for other clients, too. Free parking on site.

Online + WALK & TALK

I’m able to work online or by phone and also work on occasion from other therapeutic spaces. In May 2026 I'm launching one-to-one Walk + Talk sessions in Bromley. Please get in touch to discuss these options by dropping me an email.

Fees & payments

Usually, a counselling session lasts 50 minutes and costs £65 per session, payable 48 hours in advance, by BACS (your payment secures your appointment). However, other session lengths are available, by prior agreement.

I am also authorised to work with healthcare insurers, such as WPA and Vitality.

My cancellation policy is stated in my contract, which will be sent to you before your first session. We’ll go through this together carefully in the initial session.

What to expect

The first session is a little bit different to other sessions. It can seem a bit formal as there’s some paperwork to complete due to GDPR consent and confidentiality.

We’ll also go through the contract together to make sure that everything is understood. This is really important, because it spells out the terms, conditions and boundaries of how we agree to work together and underpins how we work going forward.

I might also ask a few more questions than usual in this initial session in order to understand what it is you wish to bring to counselling. You can read more about what happens in the first session here
